Permagard’s Black 1996 Porsche 993 Carrera S Wins First Prize
Porsche Club of America’s Gold Coast Region 2nd 2025 Concours is in the books! And with its conclusion, we are pleased to announce that our black 1996 Porsche 993 Carrera S, from our signature Permagard Porsche fleet won first prize!
Our “Panther” competed against a noteworthy $1.2 million 1993 964 Porsche 911 Turbo, which was produced and based off the 1992 IMSA Super Car Championship. In other words, it is a street-legal race car offered only to very lucky, exclusive Porsche customers.
We ultimately took home the gold at the end of this wonderful event, and we could not be prouder for what Permagard was able to accomplish for our “Panther”. What set our black 993 apart from such a rare car was the mirror-like finish that we were able to achieve with the Permagard Coating.

This contest is taken very seriously by the competing PCA members with nearly 30 Porsche vehicles meticulously detailed to perfection, just as it was earlier this year in April. Some vehicles were prepped for this contest weeks ahead of time and were carefully preserved to ensure their pristine condition for the judges’ eyes. All of these vehicles were judged by over 19 judges that were checking every square inch of each vehicle. From the exterior surfaces to the interior surfaces, no defect was left unchecked during this competition.
However, we weren’t just there to compete! Permagard Automotive was thrilled to be at this wonderful, fun event to showcase our products to PCA Gold Coast Region’s passionate members.
