Industry Experience

Luc Lefebvre d’Argencé, Permagard’s CEO/Founder, has been professionally detailing vehicles since 1979.

He started a mobile detailing business in his home state of California during his high school years, which started his journey into the world of professional detailing.

He began by detailing his neighbors’ cars, working with various waxes and other protection products, advancing his knowledge and skills in the field with each vehicle he worked on.

Eventually, he decided to pursue additional studies in France in 1987, followed by the successful launch of another detailing company on the French Rivera in 1989.

This led to the establishment of a global network of automotive detailing centers that would eventually work with Permagard, upon its founding in 1998.

Whether with hands-on experience across prestigious brands such as Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz, no one knows vehicles like Permagard.

No matter if its vintage cars, exotics, or modern finishes, we combine proven technique and experience with our aviation-grade products to ensure unmatched depth of gloss and shine, pristine paint clarity, and long-term durable protection to provide the best overall finish.
